Is it legal for a mother to keep a father from his child if he pays child support?
Answer
No. It is also illegal to keep a parent from a child even if or when he/she is not paying child support. The order governing custody and parenting time should be followed by parents and any parent violating the order is subject to contempt of court, sanctions, and jeopardizing his or her own custody rights for not acting in the best interests of the child/children.
