I have a warrant in another state can I hire a lawyer from my current state?

Question

I have a warrant in another state can I hire a lawyer from my current state?

Answer

You can but that lawyer is probably not licensed in the other state AND will not know the law or the "lay of the land" as well. You are better off, generally, to hire a lawyer in the county in which the case is filed.
