Question

I got a copy of my father's will last week and in it he wrote that he chooses at that time not to provide for me. Is that legal? Can I fight that? I wasn't even notified that he had died.

Answer

Unless you are a minor, you probably cannot contest that he chose not to give you anything. But, you may be able to contest the validity of the Will itself. You should take your copy of the Will and consult directly with a probate attorney.

Good luck
