Need to change child custody and child support Orders Of Divorce in 2001
what forms (Name or Number please) Do I need to file with the court house to get this Started Divorced in AZ.
Answer
In order to file a petition to change your child support, you can draft a Petition to Modify the Child Support and do not actually have to use specific court forms. Sometimes using the forms is complicated, when you do not understand all of the procedures of the Family Law court in Arizona. You may draft the petition or obtain the services of an attorney to draft it for you. Generally speaking, modification of child support allocation can occur when you have an increase or decrease in the earnings or a change in parenting time. It is important to have financial records, insurance payment records or a new parenting schedule. In order to determine whether your matter warrants a change in child support, we would have to determine your circumstances and would be happy to re-calculate the child support obligation for you. If you contact Stephanie Coulter of this office at 602 462 1004, she can arrange a telephone conference with our attorneys to guide you through the process.
Answer
If you are using the self service center, use the forms entitled "To Change an Existing Court Order".
We can also certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for modification. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
