My company is participating in a 4th of July parade. We will have a temporary logo on the car and float. Is the company liable for any damages caused by the driver or is the driver solely responsible?

Your company obviously could and likely would be sued. So would the driver. Usually everyone would be sued.
You should NOT participate in the parade unless you have coverage for your business on the car.
