The car dealer sold a six cylinder car and it is only a four cylinder do you have recourse outside of a court case?
I doubt if any one would take you seriously unless you had paperwork from the dealer describing the car as having a 6-cylinder engine. In that case you could go to consumer affairs and get them to help you sort it out. The general consensus regarding the purchase of things however is you look before you pay in order to get what you want.
