I have a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL and It is automatic but has 1-3 gears partial manual option At what RPM do I shift up?
you should be able to tell by the sound the from the engine, and the response of torque. it depends on how quickly you want to accelerate, and the fuel type. if it's diesel and you're driving in a "relaxed" manner, change at or around 3krpm, if petrol, then change a bit higher.
