How can you distinguish between technology and the arts?
All things to do with technology are judged by the extent to which they address need and fitness for purpose. All things to do with the Arts are judged by the extent to which the Arts, as a (legal) form of expression, evoke emotion in others. Technology and the Arts are frequently compliment one another where one uses the other to enhance its process or end result but the two can be clearly destinguished between when applying the definitions above.
