How many pictures can a 8GB memory stick hold at 9 mega pixels?
Umm, tons. And it depends.
If you shoot regular JPEG images, those image files should be approximately 5MB each. 8GB is 8000MB. 1600 images?
Most cameras, assuming they accept 8GB cards, will display right on the main screen how many pictures are remaining.
It also depends on content, some images inherently require more information to represent reasonably(ie they compress less during JPEG compression), so the image size may vary between 3-4MB and 7-8MB.
If you shoot RAW images or TIFF images, then those files are much larger (as much as 20MB/each) and you will fit much less on a card, like about 400.
