Why should you never use a boats engine to drive it onto a trailer?
The wash from the prop causes a buildup of silt and rocks thatpiles up behind the motor. Other boats drive over this and it candamage props, or scrape hulls. The silt is washed out from belowthe ramp, which then causes a hazard for trailers which can backinto the washed out hole and get stuck.
