AnswerI'm not American but I would assume that tax laws in the States are the same as in Canada where I live. It doesn't matter what state you buy your car in, if you have a license from another state, you will still have to pay whatever taxes there are in the State where you purchase your car.There must be Automible Associations right across America, why not contact one of them and ask your question, they would be best to advise you on taxes or for that matter contact by email California Tax information regarding the purchases of cars.
