Go for a test drive with the customer! Or get a knowledgeable person to ride in yours!
Customer complaint about hesitation are very difficult to run down.
I have seen the following all called hesitation:Slipping clutchTorque converter clutch lockingTurbo lagEngine missesSticky brakesVarious engine control problems that actually resulted in a hesitation.A transmission that delays going into gear at all.An automatic transmission during kick down called a hesitation.
