what happens to a complaint after a general denial

Question

what happens to a complaint after a general denial

Answer

If the plaintiff's lawyer is competent she sends out discovery requests. So does the defense lawyer. Eventually the court sets a trial date.

Answer

Discovery can consist of written questions called interrogatories, written document demands, written requests for admission, and depositions before a court reporter. These are often necessary to find out what information or facts the other side might have that could help you, or hurt the other side's case.
