Can i sue an inventor for having the same or similar idea but i never pursued my idea and now i see that idea in production?
Answer
Next time pursue your idea.
Answer
No. The patent system is designed and intended to reward those who make their great ideas public by affording them an opportunity to develop and profit from their ideas. Furthermore, you have no proof of your idea, but this is only a side issue.
Answer
Both attorneys above are right on point. Mere ideas are not protected by patent or even copyright law. Although an idea is the first critical step to any creation, without some identifiable embodiment of the idea there can be no intellectual property protection.
